The Number 13

WHAT DOES IT REALLY MEAN?

Has anyone had a chance to decipher the number thirteen (13)?
Usually leaders herald a rhyme for each year that comes in, but this one (2013) they haven't touched on. I wonder why?

I looked up the number thirteen in A Journey into Biblical Numbers to see what was going on, and here is what I came up with.

Thirteen represents REBELLION, SIN, APOSTASY, CORRUPTION, SATAN, SPIRITUAL DEPRAVITY.

Now I see why? Look at those words, epecially that three-letter one. Most leaders won't touch on that one for several reasons.
We cannot ignore the fact that there are occurrences in the Bible depicting the number thirteen, and they are as follows:

• In the thirteenth year, they rebelled (Genesis 14:4)
• Joktan 13th in order of Shem (rebellious race) (Genesis 10:2-29)
• Letters sent on the thirteenth day referring to execution of Jews (Esther 3:12, 13)
• From the thirteenth year of Josiah they hearkened not (Jeremiah 25:3)
• In the thirteenth chapter of St John there is betrayal, denial
• In the 13th chapter of Revelation there is reference to the Antichrist and the Beast

Numbers can have both negative and positive meaning. The number thirteen needs no dressing up, it is what it is. The only way to bring it out of the negative into the positive requires obedience. Since it represent all the above, then we are right now experiencing a visitation from God that says, get in MY divine order then shall you inherit the positive meaning of the number 13 to include:

• promises
• greater blessings
• new life

You herald this very well, but you left out a whole lot.

This is what ministers of the cloth are putting out there, but they won't deal with the other representation of the number 13. 

The number 13 is a number that brings the test, the suffering and the death. Spiritual death does bring about new life once a crushing has taken place.

There are numbers that makes up the #13 and they are 6 and 7. 6 + 7 = 13. 
The number 6 represents man and the number 7 represents completion (GOD).
Here you have it, God and Man. Of course, God is the one doing the completion of something.

Multiply 6 x 7 =42. The #42 represent trials and oppression.

As of you can see in this year 2013 God is dealing with man. He is the one who deals with man in their rebellious state, as they continue to SIN and do wickedly, falling further and further away from the Truth (apostasy). He says in Isaiah, " I am the Lord, there is none else, there is no God beside me. I form the light, and create darkness. I make peace, and create evil; I the Lord do all these things. Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker!"

Need we forget God placed before us the blessings and curses in Deuteronomy 28. Need we forget in Ezekiel 18:4 He declares, "Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die." 

We are experiencing a visitation from the Lord, America and the Church. Can you not see it? Nothing but havoc has been going on every since year 2013 rolled in. There were happenings in December that rolled right into the New Year. This is a wicked generation!

God will eventually have His way in that I found out something else interesting about the  # 13:

• It is a number that cleans and purifies

God is the One who brings the tests, sufferings and the dying to oneself to get sin, rebellion, and the corrupt nature off man, so he can enter into a new life filled with God's promises of greater blessings.


If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
