"This is the Church" is a collaboration between Prayerscapes and AlcanzArte Danza in Chile. The work is based around a remarkably inspired spontaneous prayer that Roger Ellis (Revelation Church, Chichester) prayed as an introduction to a talk he gave at a national UK worship conference. Thankfully the tape recorder was running and so we were able to re-create this prayer in the studio, and develop a soundtrack around the words. AlcanzArte Danza have choreographed and filmed a dance to the piece, devising and shooting the work on location near Santiago, Chile.
This is the Church

Let’s embrace the cry of heaven. To see humanity filled with the light, the love and the Glory of God.
Human beings in their right mind, cleansed of darkness, sin and brokenness, restored to the place they should be.
Walking in the garden with the Father, enjoying fellowship with him,
lives restored so they can be who they were intended to be.

Connected, fulfilled. The hole that’s in their life that no one else can fill other than the Creator – filled.
People released to be a celebration of their humanity, a celebration of who they are, who they were made to be.
Church connected together in the presence of God, a strange parable.
A parable of unanswered questions. A parable of broken lives.
A parable of great celebration, of forgiveness and healing received now.
Of great triumph, a living party- such is Church.

People often asked me what my title or calling in life was, and I would hesitate for a moment and think, not really knowing, so they would take it upon themselves to label me everything but what God called me to be. Title labeling goes on every day in Christendom, which is why it is extremely important to go to the Source of your being to find out your calling or mission in life and not allow man to label you.” We all are vessels passing through with a purpose in life to fulfill a need. God knew everything about Paul, just as He knows everything about you and me. God’s plan for your life may be a five-fold ministry position, entrepreneurship, or writer. Whatever it is, it was thought out before conception and has God’s blessings upon it. Paul knew he was called to do a special work, recognized it as God’s vision for his life, and operated in it with guidance from God.

Too often things come into our lives and cause discomfort. We rehearse over and over in our minds why this is happening, or what’s going on when the Bible instructs us to not lean to our own understanding, just trust God in the situation and learn from it. The Bible warns us that in this world you will have tribulations. They come for many reasons known to God.

The Huffington Post wrote an article about Toni Braxton, citing statements from her new book “Unbreak My Heart” in which she opens up about her life, her family, and her past. One statement she shared concerning her past received a lot of attention in which she voiced that she once believed God gave her son autism because of a past abortion. In other words, she once believed her son’s condition is because of her past sin. Now she has a change of mind and has found peace about it and is able to move on with her life. In her lifetime she’s had her share of ups and downs with a lupus diagnosis, a divorce, and two bankruptcies.The write-up did not fail to mention that she had a religious upbringing. She has history with God.

A message for spiritual leaders who don't believe in women preachers

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us FREE, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

I am so sick and tired of these jet-lagged, jelly-back preachers who have a problem with women having a voice in the church. They get behind the pulpit and on radio airwaves preaching against women preachers as if they are God's only gift to the church. They preach women shouldn't wear pants or anything pertaining to man. Then they preach against tithing, thereby creating more robbers of God. These same leaders attack God, his personality and the Son, teaching there is no such thing as a Trinity. Just need to shut up and get somewhere and sit down and get a true revelation from God. Stop spreading these false doctrines. Some of you begin your message off so well and then you go off into left field talking down on women preachers. That's when you know these leaders are talking out of the flesh and the Spirit is nowhere around them.
