THE SINNER'S Prayer

Dear God,

I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived.

The Bible says if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead I shall be saved (Romans 10:9). I believe with my heart and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord. I repent of my sins and receive Him as my Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name. Amen.

If you have said this prayer, I welcome you into the family of God. The angels in heaven are rejoicing over you! Because the Bible says in Hebrews 10:25 to forsake not the assembling of yourselves with others, it is extremely important that you find a church home where leadership is humble and God-fearing, the gifts of the Holy Spirit is at work and where you can best utilize the gifts and talents God placed in you.

I would also like to recommend this book for newcomers in Christ. I read it myself and wished it would have been available to me when I first received Christ into my life. It is truly a God-send.
